Terms of Use
We are excited to announce our new standard TOU / License Agreement that applies to every product at Polka Dot Potato!
You can now enjoy new freedoms and flexibility with our new “Scrap for Hire” friendly Terms of Use.
Here are the highlights:
In addition to be able to use the art freely for personal use, you may create scrapbook layouts, photo cards, invitations, personal (non-commercial) web pages, posters and other derivative artwork for sale to a third party under the following conditions:
Must be in a home-based business setting.
The final product sold must be supplied to the customer as a flattened .jpg and/or in printed format.
For web applications, resolution is limited to 1000 x 1000 pixels.
In addition, you may:
Use the art in any capacity within a non-profit agency such as PTA, church, women’s shelter, etc. (credit would be appreciated.)
Use the art on letterhead and business cards, pamphlets, brochures and catalogs provided that the item is not reproduced more than 2,000 times.
Use the art for non-mass produced product packaging. Packaging must be printed on a non-commercial printer and be reproduced less than 1,000 times total.
Use the art for multimedia presentations and in film and video broadcasts provided that the intended audience is under 10,000. (Copyright notice and credit must be given.)
You may use the art as part of editorial or advertising content in a magazine, newspaper, book or directory provided that distribution does not surpass 5,000.
This standard, site-wide license agreement replaces any TOU or license agreement currently attached to a Polka Dot Potato product on the site as of 1/17/08.
