Big Changes
Change is hard, but sometimes necessary. I’ve found that I frequently have to take one step back so I can take 2 steps forward – and that is exactly what I am faced with today.
I have made the arduous decision to retire digital art and downloads from Polka Dot Potato. I have loved being part of the digital scrapbooking community in this fashion but feel several things pulling me in other directions. LEARN MORE ABOUT THE SALE
This was a deep and personal decision for me and my family. I love the PDP designers. I am convinced that there are none better – in character and talent. I thank them from the bottom of my heart for their commitment to making PDP such a great place to shop.
I also thank our amazing customers! Y’all have been wonderful and loyal and have encouraged us more than words can express.
This Fall will mark a new personal journey for our family. My son, Nolen, is going into the 8th grade. He is a wonderful boy and is incredibly talented. To best serve his gifting, we will be homeschooling him this next school year. His love is for art and technology and there is simply not a program in the public school system that adequately serves him. We are thrilled to be such an integral influence in his life in this way. But with this new responsibility, we have realized that we have to let go of other responsibilities and put our energy into those things that serve our family the best.
Thank you for these last 5 years. The ride was awesome!
